Spring is when a lot of folks will want to renovate their lawn for summer. But what's the best method short of tilling up the ground and starting over which is labor intensive and usually not practical?
Aeration and seeding comes to mind first, but that's not always the best option due to several short comings. How about slice seeding? If you can stand the "rows" of grass it produces it may be your best non-invasive method for attaining an award winning lawn. It also doesn't bring up plugs of soil like aeration which can spread otherwise buried weed seeds for summer germination. The undesirable rows of grass look bad at first but overtime as the grass plants mature they become less evident. So if you want to renovate your lawn consider slice seeding, it may be your best option.
